slightly better

ethan's nose seems to have stopped 'running' as much but there's the occasional 'leakage' every now and then. still bearable :) but now it seems he's developed a cough - a phlegmy one too! each time he coughs i'll cringe cos it sounds like those coughs where you'd expect lots of phlegm to be expelled, but since he doesnt know how to do that yet, it just gets stuck inside. ugh... now i'm wondering whether to start him on cough meds... strange how one thing happens after another huh, especially when it comes to illnesses.

anyway the weather's been quite gd these days, so this morning ethan went to the park just behind our place. he had a great time there (forgot to bring our cam so no pics - sorry!). cant wait for spring to be here then we can take him for picnics in the parks! that's what life here shd be about huh ;)

u da man!

so here he is in his brand new jeans. unfortunately, they're a little too small! it fits him just nicely around the waist (but look how much of the length we gotta fold up!) so i reckon he's only gonna be able to wear it for another mth or so :P bye bye $$$

next time we go shopping for him, we might have to start looking at size 2 (the jeans we got were size 1 n i already thought they'd be big enough). he's growing up so fast!

anyway he's still coughing n having a runny nose. bad thing is that it's taken a turn for the worse n his mucus is now yellow :( (ok ok.. too much info for some of u, i know!) so we've had to start him on antibiotics. i really hate that, but i guess we have no choice... hope he'll be able to recover within the wk!

all stuffed up

the poor little fella's having a runny nose (took him to the dr's this afternoon).

just managed to get him back to slumberland again (it's past 12midnite now). this is the 2nd time he's woken up since we put him to bed at 9pm just now. it's gotta be the blocked nose that's causing him so much discomfort. poor baby :( just gave him a dose of med - sure hope he'll be able to sleep thro the rest of the nite more soundly after this...

Huggies F1

ethan was fortunate enough to get huggies as his sponsor during his 1st F1 GP.

we hope to field him for next year's Melbourne GP (hopefully his cardboard car will still be intact then)

ok.. this post has nothing to do with ethan but i couldnt resist blogging about our backyard - first time we got one mah ;) (probably the last time too hee)

anyway we felt enough was enough... ethan was threatening to get lost in the jungle! so we got a gardener here today to clean up the place :P. and here we have our garden back again :)

10 mths old...

happy 10 mth old darling :)

we bought ethan his 1st pair of jeans (went out shopping with him as a birthday treat cos he hardly gets to go out hee hee). almost got a bomber jacket to match but we realised it wasnt made of real leather (it was PVC - yucks!) so that went out the window. will do a photo shoot when he puts on his jeans for the 1st time :)

oh btw, take a close look at the photo n u might be able to spot his 2 upper teeth. realise how wide the gap is? i think it's gotta be at least 2 or 3mm! sure hope it doesnt stay this way forever. but for now, i think it makes him look rather cheeky ;)

yup - it IS another beanie! we can't help but amuse ourselves by placing our beanies onto ethan :) i know.... bo liao adults. but sometimes, it just gets so boring here :P

can u spot what's new in the photo?

firstly, ethan's got a new high chair fr fisher price cos he was threatening to escape from his old ikea one (he somehow manages to squirm this way and that till he breaks free from the seat belt). with this new chair, there's no way in hell he can get out of it cos it's got a 5 pt harness.. heh heh heh :D

secondly (and if you'd spotted this i'd readily salute you!), he's got shoes on! yes... we decided to put them on cos he was fast outgrowing this pair of shoes that i bought for him in spore. funny thing was, the 1st time we put it on for him, he wailed and screamed at the top of his voice! he simply detests wearing shoes! anyway this has only strengthened our resolve to make him wear shoes every time we go out now, cos i dont want him going around barefooted next time :P

ps: we've yet to apply for his driver's licence tho. cos we're waiting for him to be tall enuf to stand in front of the camera that takes the photo for the licence ;)
